Our annual health and fitness challenge kicks off with the New Year.  We encourage all of our athletes to participate in this years challenge with the winners not only earning bragging rights, but a healthier better physique for the new year.

This competition is intended to give you a clean start for the new year! Helping you develop good habits, refine your nutrition and challenge your fitness.

The competition is simple. Each week you will be presented with a series of HEALTH, DIET, FITNESS GOALS and OBJECTIVES. Check them off to earn points. At the end; points, weight loss, and before and after photo assessment will determine the leanest and meanest in 2020.

WEEK 1 OBJECTIVES:
Let’s Ease Into This

*January 3st – 12th*

– ALL ANSWERS MUST BE COLLATED INTO A SINGLE RESPONSE USING THE BELOW FORMAT.
– MULTIPLE EMAILS WILL NOT BE LOOKED AT, EVERYTHING IN ONE SHOT.
– FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULTS IN A LOSS OF POINTS.
– EMAILS AFTER THE 12th WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

1. Email One Diet Goal and One Fitness Goal
Tell us if you want to lose 5lbs, cut out soda, eat strict paleo, attend more classes, get more sleep, achieve your first toe to bar.  Your fitness goal should be short term and achievable.  We admire your determination to do 50 unbroken pull-ups, but if you are still on bands your goal should be to perform a set of 5 with a lighter resistance or perhaps your first RX pull-up. 

2. Email Your Before Photos; Front, Back, Left, Right
                Before and after photos should be taken in the same outfit, in the same area of your house. If you need help please feel free to ask. If you feel self-conscious about your body you can take photos in workout attire, but please remember it helps to see where your starting at when it comes to judging your after shots.

3. Email Your Official Starting Weight
Using the scale in Coach Ant’s office in order to keep challengers consistent.

4. Email Hip/Waist Measurement
We can measure your hip/waist ratio upon request or you can do it with a loved one or workout buddy.

5. Email & Submit Your score For Fitness Challenge #1
Fitness Challenge #1:
For Reps:
2 minutes Burpees to 45# plate
2 minutes of situps
2 minutes Burpees to 45# plate
*This will be programmed as a cash out with all classes Monday, 1/6, through Sunday, 1/30 and on Wednesday, 1/12.  If you are not able to attend one of these classes, you can do the Fitness Challenge #1 on your own (before/after another class, open gym) to submit your score (honesty policy in affect)

6. Email Your Preferred Diet Approach
Following a strict Paleo diet, trying a vegan lifestyle, intermittent fasting, cutting carbs or sugar, no more fast food or perhaps just a casual clean eating approach.  We want you to tell us a little about how you plan on changing your eating habits or how you plan to continue eating right for 2019.
