Anthony Lucic


In 2010 Ant obtained his CrossFit Certification and began coaching at a CrossFit gym in Queens, and in 2012 opened his first CrossFit facility. What started out as a passion soon became his calling. Over the last 11 years Ant has trained countless athletes, and currently owns one of the biggest boxes in New York City.

Coach Ant Lucic is a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. As a local New Yorker, Ant was compelled to join the military after the tragedy of September 11, 2001. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2003, and served two combat tours in Iraq in 2005 & 2008. He now serves as an Army Paratrooper.

Coach Ant maintains a constant desire to better himself as an athlete and a coach. As an athlete Ant has trained and competed in Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, Strongman, & local fitness competitions.

As a coach Ant has pursued Exercise Science at Adelphi University to better understand the anatomy and physiology of the human body, coupled with his diverse background in the medical field, having held a New York State EMT license as well as passing a combat lifesaver course in the military, Ant has the ability to safely and effectively train his athletes through the use of personal experience, formal education, and medical knowledge.
